- Preheat oven to 350° F. Line Sheet Pan with Sheet Pan Liner.
- Using a stand mixer (with paddle attachment) or hand mixer, beat mix with butter, egg, and vanilla extract on low speed until well combined. Stir in chocolate chips and/or desired add-ins (see “Recipe Tip”).
- Scoop dough into 12 balls, about 2 tbsp each. Arrange on pan, spacing 1" apart. Bake 12–15 min, or until lightly golden on the edges and set in the middle. Let cool on pan for 5 min. Place cookies on Cooling Rack and cool completely.
Switch things up and swap chocolate chips with these add-ins:
OATMEAL RAISIN: 1⁄4 cup each oats and raisins.
WHITE CHOCOLATE MACADAMIA: 1⁄4 cup each white chocolate chips and coarsely chopped macadamia nuts.
